Fronted by Lead vocalist Andrew Wood Mitchell and Spawned from his original project The AM Band, Andy & The BigFunk is the culmination of years of gigging and recording which has given him ample opportunity to tap the resources of some of the finest session musicians working in the United Kingdom. Starting out as a Five Piece combo in 1990 the band has gone up to Twenty Nine and everything in between. Mixing Rare Groove, Acid Jazz, Seventies Funk and Disco sounds with more modern Rhythm and Beat and Dance tracks which have scaled the charts more recently, Andy gives the material his own particular interpretation helped by some of the best musicians and vocalists on the touring and recording scene.
